AI Share-of-Voice Scan
See how often AI answer engines cite you vs your competitors — and the gap keywords you're losing.
How the scan works
- 1Enter your domain, up to 3 competitors, and up to 6 keywords.
- 2We query Brave, Google AI and Perplexity for each keyword across every domain.
- 3We compute each domain's share of voice and find your gap and winning keywords.
- 4Results label measured engines vs estimated proxies so you read them honestly.
Measured vs estimated — read honestly
No tool can perfectly observe what every AI engine cites. We measure what we can directly (e.g. Perplexity) and use a search proxy as an estimate elsewhere, and we label which is which. Share of voice is a competitive-visibility signal, not a traffic or revenue guarantee. The complete guide explains the methodology in full.

Is the AI share-of-voice scan free?
Yes. The free scan is capped in size (a handful of keywords and competitors) so it stays fast and sustainable. Enter your domain, optional competitors and your keywords, and you'll get a share-of-voice breakdown with gap keywords.
How is share of voice measured?
We query multiple engines and count how often each domain is cited or surfaced for your keywords, then express each domain's mentions as a percentage of the total. Some engines are measured directly (e.g. Perplexity) while others use a search proxy as an estimate — the result labels which is which, because conflating them would overstate precision.
What are gap keywords?
Gap keywords are queries where competitors get cited by AI engines but you don't. They're your highest-leverage opportunities: topics where buyers are getting AI answers that point to rivals instead of you.
Does a high share of voice guarantee traffic?
No. Share of voice measures citation/visibility share for a keyword set, not clicks or revenue. It's a competitive-visibility signal, useful for prioritizing where to invest — not a direct traffic or sales metric.
